HCL Commerce (formerly known as WebSphere Commerce and WCS) is a software platform framework for e-commerce, including marketing, sales, customer management and order management functions in a custom integrated package. It is a unique platform that offers the ability to conduct transactions directly with consumers (B2C), with companies (B2B), indirectly through channel partners (indirect business models) or all at the same time. WebSphere Commerce is a customizable, scalable and highly available solution, based on the Java-Java EE platform and using open standards such as xml and web services. The product was sold to HCL Technologies in July 2019.  WebSphere Developer v9 is not limited to Windows.
